Eric I. Sturdza

Group Chairman

  • After a Masters in Economy and Business at HEC Lausanne, Eric has devoted his career to wealth management. He led client management and development for Citibank NA’s French, Belgian and Italian markets, created the Swiss subsidiary of Baring Brothers Bank (Suisse) in 1985, and in 1995 acquired a 30% stake in partnership with ING Group and renamed the branch Banque Baring Brothers Sturdza
  • In 2005, Eric Sturdza acquired the remaining 70% stake from ING to become the Bank’s sole, independent shareholder, and created the Bank’s Guernsey-based asset management entity. In 2009, he created a second bank – Banque Pâris-Bertrand Sturdza SA. Then in 2013 the Group acquired the family office Coges Corraterie Gestion SA (COGES). In 2016, the bank was renamed Banque Eric Sturdza
  • Eric is a member of the Board of Directors and the ultimate controlling shareholder of the Bank together with his family. He is Chairman of the Eric Sturdza Group and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank.

Luca Micheli

CEO du Groupe

Holding a Master’s degree in Economic & Social Sciences from the University of Fribourg (1990) and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Compliance Management from the University of Geneva (2005), Luca began his career at L’Oréal Switzerland in management control in 1991. In 1997, he joined the Management Committee in charge of Finance, Management, and Organization. He then joined Coges Corraterie Gestion SA in 1999, holding several management positions, including CEO until 2016 and board member since 2017. He moved to Banque Eric Sturdza in 2017 to fill the newly created position of Secretary-General, was appointed Deputy General Manager, and joined the Executive Management in 2021.

Luc Filip

Chief Investment Officer Groupe

Luc holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Geneva and is a CFA charterholder. He brings over 25 years of experience in portfolio management within private banking, having held positions at BNP Paribas (Suisse), Union Bancaire Privée, REYL & Cie and Banque SYZ.
Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including Head of Portfolio Management, and has served as a member of several Investment Committees. Luc joined the Eric Sturdza Group as Head of Investments in 2025 and was appointed to the Group’s Executive Management in January 2026.

Constantin Sturdza

Membre du Board Groupe

Constantin has been actively managing US equities since 2013.
He previously trained at Clarkson’s (London) as a broker in Deep Sea Tankers and thereafter worked in operations for Nereus Shipping.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rollins College, where he co-founded the International Business Club.
